IN MEMORIAM
Jean-Philippe Le Trévou
1961-2021
This page has been dedicated to the great French organist Jean-Philippe Le Trévou by his German friend Michael Reckling,
resident in Spain since 1966. He currently lives with his family at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Valladolid in Northern Spain
where Pilar Cabrera is the organist of the organ Allen Quantum since 2006, currently the largest Allen organ in Spain.

Since 2010 Jean-Philippe Le Trévou has been in charge of the technical support of Valladolid's Cathedral organ on behalf of Allen Studio France.
Through several trips between Paris-Valladolid-Paris a great friendship arose between Jean-Philippe and the Michael Reckling family.

Very impressed by Jean-Philippe's improvisations, Michael Reckling proposed him to make some audio recordings behind closed doors.
Thanks to that initiative there is today available the only double CD of Jean-Philippe's improvisational art
with 20 magnificent recordings, as a historical sound document for all his friends and admirers of this great French organist.
An absolute feast for the ears for all lovers and experts of organ music.

The creation of this double CD was very time consuming and expensive.
By buying this CD, you contribute to its financing and so that these pages are always visible.

Here you can listen to sound samples and buy this historic double CD.
Especially impressive with headphones...
