Jean-Philippe Le Trévou, born in Paris, was a French organist and improviser. He chooses music at the age of nine
and enters the children's choirs of Radio France where he studies polyphonic singing at the same time,
the piano with Danièle Arpajou and the organ with Raphaël Tambyeff. His passion and love for organ music
lead him to work with the famous Allen organ manufacturer in the United States of which he is the official distributor in France.
His perfect knowledge of the Allen organ makes him today one of the best professionals in digital organs.
It has an instrument rental fleet which is regularly used by the most prestigious national and international orchestras.
For more than 30 years, he has participated in major events and concerts both in France and abroad:
Cinémathèque Française for the Ciné-Mémoire Festival, Théâtre du Chatelet for the Nights of Improvisation with Jean-François Zygel,
Cinema Museum in Frankfurt, Théâtre de la Colline (Paris), Homage to George Delerue (Club 2000 Air France).
Member of the improvisational group of Jean-François Zygel's cine-concerts,
Monaco International Organ Festival, Organ Spring in Angers.
He died on March 20, 2021 at the age of 60.
